The Settlement on Wilmington Island

Blogs are new to me, so bear with me.  I have certainly heard a lot about them, but have not yet participated.  At this point, I just want to say a big thank you for all of the support that I received from everyone in the community (except one, of course).  We have a board that takes a real interest in The Settlement.  They are all open to ideas, try to do their best to carry out designated tasks, and work together to get done whatever is needed.  And in addition to the current board members, there are others that continue to contribute in their own ways to make The Settlement a great place to live.  You make it a privilege, and you make it easy for me to continue to serve as your president.  I thank all of you for that.

I have included a new communication medium for ALL residents of The Settlement to use.  The current categories are Board of Directors Blog, For Sale and General.  If you can think of one you would like please let me know.  

If you would like to post on the blog site, please goto the contact page and send me an e-mail and I will open an account for you.  Please provide your address and a phone number for varification of residence.  All comments will be moderated before posting to ensure it is appropriate.

On the lower left menu you see the login item.  Once I build you in the system, I will send you an email with your password.  You need to send me a User name you want to use.  Once you receive your password click on login and you will be taken to the dashboard page where you can post messages, manage your profile, change passwords, etc.
